This weekend we were invited by the Metropolitan Police to attend the Hackney & Tower Hamlets Charity Cup event they had facilitated at Stoke Newington High School. The event saw 16 teams compete at 7 a side football to take out the cup.
It was a great day and we were introduced to so many amazing people doing important work in the borough. We have a lot of following up to do, but we made some great connections that we look forward to working with to bring the pilot to fruition in Hackney. Watch this space and we’ll keep you posted on progress!
It was also the first time that we had some of our images printed for our banners – we think they look great and mark another step towards making the project a reality!
The following day we hit Hackney Marshes to attend another Football tournament put on by Bobby Kassanga of Hackney Wicks Football Club, who we have been working with to co-ordinate some football related photo shoots for the project.
Below are a few photos from the weekend.
