Life On The Edge is led by international artist Jessica Angel. Angel is driven by the desire to create change in society through art. She looks to reach new audiences in new ways and instigate change within communities by creating exhibits and installations that bring the movement to life bridging to ‘lived experience’ through classes and workshops.
Angel has captured dance and movement on camera internationally with exhibits in London, Havana and New York including shows at Jerwood Space, the United Nations, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Casa Guayasamin. Over the last five years she has developed Liquid Heat for Harlem – an annual photographic installation based in Cuban dance with a dance summer camp for local disadvantaged young people, giving them educational and performance opportunities.
